What we love about it: Women rule the world, which is rare for a huge fantasy series if you compare it to Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones, the Witcher, etc. It's a world full of epic scenery and battles, as well as magic that’s visually executed to a film quality standard and each episode ends on a cliffhanger so you just can’t wait to see what happens next!

What we love about it: I enjoy the mystery behind the series, you never know what is around the corner. The suspense is thrilling - you never know what the characters are going to do next.

What we love about it: Definitely that Marvel is finally exploring the character Hawkeye, one of the most under-appreciated avengers. So far I love how seamlessly the first episode weaves into the wider MCU and that the show promises to revisit unexplored story beats from Endgame that hardcore MCU fans will recognise, while adding a new and interesting Hawkeye characters from the comics.

What we love about it: Tiger King left so many unanswered questions in 2020 that I needed answered through Tiger King 2. I love the extroverted personalities in the show and the fact no one takes responsibility for their own actions. Everything the personalities do is for their own personal gain and the chaos that unfolds from their actions is interesting. It is an easy watch and an important reminder that together we need to protect the beautiful exotic animals.

What we love about it: I love how unique it is! It's a dark corporate satire full of reprehensible, despicable, foul-mouthed anti-heroes, who will scheme, conspire, double-cross and backstab anyone who gets in the way of their desire for accumulated power and status--friends and family be damned.

The Great

What we love about it: It is an hilarious take on what a country would be like run by a bunch of privileged teenagers. They are debauched, irresponsible and spiteful, so much like modern politics really. The sets and costuming are incredible and after a few episodes you will find yourself declaring “Huzzah!” at regular intervals.

What we love about it: Full of drama and suspense, every episode of Ozark never fails to deliver! I love how each character has to carefully navigate relationship conflicts and the intense situations they find themselves in.

The Beautiful Lie

What we love about it: it’s a contemporary and clever interpretation of a 19th century drama that follows Tolstoy’s classic story very faithfully. Social conventions may change but the power of human desire is timeless. Sophie Lowe and Alexander England steal the show (and it was great to see Gina Riley of Kath & Kim fame!).
