Crokinole is a fun wooden board game that can be played competitively or with family & friends. However, it holds a special place in household games as many families create amazing memories which can be treasured forever playing this game. Crokinole also helps in improving hand-eye coordination and motor skills. Many play this game on family game nights, while having a party or a get together with friends and family.
The aim is for the players to take turns shooting discs across the circular playing surface, trying to have their discs land in the higher-scoring regions of the board, while attempting to knock opposing discs. Players must take turns flicking the discs from the outer edge of their quadrant of the board onto the playing field. Shooting is done by flicking the disc with a finger, although sometimes small cue sticks are used. If there are any enemy discs on the board, a player must make contact, directly or indirectly, with an enemy disc during the shot. If unsuccessful, the shot disc is “fouled” and removed from the board along with any of the player’s other discs that were moved during the shot. The Crokinole Wooden board is 80cm in diameter and comes with 13 brown and 13 black discs, a carry bag for discs, rules included. Overall weight is 7kg. For 2-4 players. and suitable for ages 7+.
