You all saw it. You all loved it. You all want the costumes. Here’s how to make your own Squid Game costume.

1. The Soldiers.

Someone has to enforce the rules.

  • Grab yourself any red tracksuit or jumpsuit with a hood and add a black belt.
  • Shop our range of black Squid Game masks. Or for the DIY version:
  • Use a cheap metal kitchen sieve large enough to fit over your face (yes, a kitchen sieve).
    • Paint it black using normal paint and a damp sponge.
    • Paint your chosen symbol on it in white (can use a brush here).
    • If it’s cheap metal, you can reshape it into an oval shape easily with a bit of force.
    • Use the handle to secure it in your jumpsuit, or break it off and fix it to the top of your hood on the inside.
  • Add a toy machine gun or a water pistol filled with fake blood or water with red food colouring.
  • Voila, you’re ready to stand guard!

2. The Players.

You can’t have a game without the players.

  • Grab any green tracksuit. Extra points if they come with white lines down the sides but you can just paint these on later.
  • Choose your player number and using sticky labels or a white paint marker or number applique, add them to your left chest and across your back.
  • Wear a white shirt underneath and paint your chosen number on it in green.
  • Get some fake blood to splatter on.
  • Get ready for the first game!

3. The Game Master.

Every game needs a Game Master.

  • Find yourself a long dark grey coat with a hood or a long dark grey poncho.
  • Shop our range of black Squid Game masks. Or for the DIY version:
  • Get a plain black face-shaped mask.
    • Draw geometric lines across it in a lead pencil.
    • With gold or silver paint, paint over the lines and blend a little bit into the shape as you go. This will highlight the edges of the geometric ‘shapes’ you see on his mask.
  • Maybe carry some whisky.
  • Hello Master!

4. The VIPs.

  • Get yourself any pimp costume or sleek business-type suit (Check out our Opposuits).
  • Grab an animal mask: either a bull, owl, panther, lion, deer or eagle (or your own choice).
    • Paint it gold or cover it in gold gemstones.
  • Add some fake money, cigars and whisky for props.
  • Sit back and enjoy the games!
